
Dr. Faiz Hasan
Case Study Manager, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New DelhiDr. Faiz Hasan is a marketing researcher, educator, and case study professional currently serving as Case Study Manager at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi. He is actively involved in developing industry-based management case studies that document real business challenges, strategic decisions, and organisational practices for use in management education. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he is currently associated with a few organisations as a consultant, advising them on marketing strategy, consumer insights, business growth, and case-based documentation to strengthen the interface between academia and industry.
He completed his PhD in Marketing from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), where his doctoral research, “Electric Vehicle Adoption in India: An Empirical Investigation,” examined the behavioural factors influencing consumer adoption of electric vehicles in India. His research interests include consumer behaviour, digital marketing, sustainable marketing, technology adoption, electric vehicles, and young consumers.
Dr. Hasan’s academic and professional journey spans research, teaching, and management education. Over the years, he has been associated with leading institutions, including the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow), Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore), Management Development Institute (MDI), and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). He has also participated in faculty development programmes, doctoral consortiums, workshops, and conferences at premier institutions such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIT Kharagpur, IIM Shillong, IIM Jammu, BITS Pilani, IRMA Anand, and IIITM Gwalior.
