Who is the publication mentorship for?
The mentorship is designed for students and early-stage researchers who want structured academic guidance while developing research for a stronger manuscript for publication.
Undergraduate students
Research papers, dissertations, term papers, and extended academic projects that require stronger structure, argumentation, citation practices, and research clarity.
Master’s Students
Postgraduate research and dissertation work that you want to develop into a journal article or prepare for your first academic publication.
Early-Stage Researchers
Researchers refining arguments, methodology, manuscript structure and academic presentation before submitting to a journal or responding to peer review.
How the publication mentorship process works?
The process begins with an initial submission. Students may submit a research idea, a draft paper, or a completed manuscript. Based on this, Qurtuba Circle assigns a mentor whose work aligns with the subject. The first stage focuses on the central argument and structure of the paper. Feedback addresses gaps in reasoning, organisation of sections, and clarity of the research question. The student revises the paper based on this input. Later stages focus on paragraph-level organisation, integration of sources, citation style, and formatting. Mentors will also guide students in identifying suitable academic journals or platforms for submission.
Compensating expertise. Supporting education.
How Mentorship Fees Are Used?
Fees from this service are distributed between the contributor providing mentorship and Qurtuba Circle. Contributors are compensated for their work. A portion of the proceeds is allocated to supporting educational expenses for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including tuition fees and related academic costs.
